LaRayne Gilchrist

LaRayne Maude Gilchrist (nee Metcalf) Age 84, of Eagan, formerly of Forest Lake. Our loving mother, grandmother, and aunt went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 27, 2010, after a courageous battle with ALS. She is free now, but we will forever mourn her loss. Preceded in death by first husband Dean Gilchrist; second husband George Carlson; brothers, Melvin, Myron; sister Dorothy Burch. She leaves behind her daughter Shelley Potter (nee Gilchrist); stepchildren, Judy (Larry) Walker (nee Gilchrist), Dean (Jan) Gilchrist; grandson John Gilchrist (Jenny Booth) Potter; many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Forest Lake. Memorials preferred to the family.
