Larry Kost

Larry W. Kost, age 35 of Forest Lake, died Monday, October 12, 2009. Larry was born January 17, 1974 in Stillwater, Minnesota the son of Robert and Penny (Carlson) Kost. Larry went to Scandia Elementary School before completing his schooling in Forest Lake. In 2003, Larry developed problems with his kidney and in 2005 his mother donated her kidney to save his life. The donation was a success for several years before his kidney began to fail him again. Larry was greeted in heaven by his grandparents; half sister Chevon; nephew Shawn. He will be dearly missed by his devoted family including his mother Penny Carlson (Doug LaFrance); father Robert (Janine) Kost; siblings, Tammy (Ed) Anderson, Amanda (Chuck) Belanger, Joshua Kost; nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2009 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m., following the service. Memorials are preferred to the family.
