LaVerna Zang

LaVerna B. Zang, age 87, of the Twin Cities area, died peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2010 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Logan and Mary Verness; husband Clarence H. Zang; sister Marjorie Rines. Survived by her children, Gail (Larry) Peterson, Craig (Terese) Odegard; step-sons, Michael (Barb) Zang, Peter (Denise) Zang and their families; grandchildren, Kim Schmedeke, Logan Odegard, Scott Yelle; brother Gordon (Lorraine) Verness; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
