Cliff Holcomb

Loren Clifford 'Cliff" Holcomb Jr. 

October 14, 1943 - November 17, 2024 

 Cliff was 81 years old when he passed away at his home in North Branch, Minnesota, with his home full of family members and his wife at his side.  Cliff was born on October 14, 1943 in Wisconsin to his parents Loren and Sandra Holcomb. He grew up in North Branch with his two brothers, Jerry and Clark.   After graduating North Branch High School, he went to St. Paul Vocational School for woodworking where he learned to make cabinets. He married the love of his life Barbara ‘Barb’ on June 22, 1963. They had three boys, Rick, Ron, and Corey.  Cliff worked as a cabinet maker, a postman delivering mail for 11 years, and he was a volunteer fire fighter for 20 years- during those 20 years he worked his way up the line to be Assistant Chief.   Cliff and Barb opened their own cabinet shop; Kustom Kitchen and Karpet in Wyoming, Minnesota, which they owned for 22 years. Cliff was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. He raised cows, pigs, and chickens. As well as crops such as corn, soybeans, and straw.   Cliff also enjoyed traveling to Arizona for winter months with his wife, as well as going on a few cruises over the years.  Cliff is survived by his wife, Barb; they have been blessed with almost 61.5 years of marriage. He is also survived by his two sons, Rick and Corey; four grandchildren, Keho (fiancée, Sami), Cassie (Jesse), Damon (Mikayla), and Cole; eight great grandchildren, Keeli, Jaylynn, Lyla, Carter, Elianna, Layden, Skylar, and Ryder.   He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Ron, and his brother, Jerry. 

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday December 7th, 2024, at 11am at St. John's Lutheran Church, 31075 Genesis Avenue, Stacy, Minnesota. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
