Lawrence "Sonny" Schoenrock, age 71 of Hugo, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Sonny was born June 27, 1940 in Wagner Township (Giese), Minnesota. Sonny was a former employee of Advanced Circuits. Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold & Margaretha (Groth) Schoenrock; brothers and sisters; and first wife, Joyce (Eiffler) Schoenrock. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra; daughter Joy (Adam) Strand; grandchildren, Autumn and Adam II "Deuce" Strand; Sandra's children, Jason (Amanda) Andert, Jennifer Andert, Joe Andert; sister, Lilly Bielejeski and Joyce's daughter, Cindy Cabezas. Sonny was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved living in the "north country" and taking in the outdoors. Some of his enjoyments included polka and country western music, gin rummy and cribbage.
