Layton Cohoes, age 63, of Forest Lake passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on August 28, 2011. He was a longtime employee of MNDOT. Layton is preceded in death by his parents; son, Darren. He is survived by his wife, Janet; son, Daniel; daughter, Robyn; sister, Marilee (Louis) Larkey; brother, Richard (Judy) Cohoes; other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery.
