Leander Eggen

Leander Ray Eggen, age 59, of Isanti, Minnesota was pronounced deceased, of natural causes, on March 4th, 2019. He was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 19th, 1959 toBetty Ann (Gossen) Unger and Leander Bernard Eggen.

Lee owned his own painting company. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Lee was never the type of person to sit idle for very long. He was always looking for something fun to do whether it was hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, dancing, doing pig roasts or being an active member at 2218 Alano AA society.

Lee is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Unger; father, Leander Bernard Eggen; sister, Mary Jones; and brother-in-law, William Foos.  Lee is survived by his children, Comyia, Joseph, Lexi, Shawn; stepfather, Ronald Unger; sisters, Ruth Foos, Lauri, Julie, Tracie, Jessie; brother, Ronald Eggen, Corey, Jody, Jamie, Mickey, Jeremy, Dusty; granddaughters, Iris, Robyn, Autumn; grandson, Kenny; nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2019 at Maranatha Assembly of God, 24799 Forest Blvd North, Forest Lake.  Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN and continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
