Leonard Jarvis

Leonard E. Jarvis, age 71 of Scandia, Minnesota, died Monday, September 10, 2018 peacefully in his home.   Leonard was a 30 + year employee of the United States Postal Service.  He proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Marine Corps.  He was very involved throughout the years in Boy Scouts and was the Minnesota Director of Point Man Ministries.  Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Jr. and Ruby (Cooper) Jarvis; brothers, Lee and Larry.  Survived by wife, Jean; son, Clint (Jodi) Jarvis; six grandchildren; sister, LuAnn (Alan) Flater; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Funeral services at 7:30 p.m., followed by Military Ritual and Honors accorded by VFW Post 4210 and American Legion Post 225.  Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery AA # 2.
