Lila Pietenpol

Lila A. Pietenpol, age 96, died, November 23, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Louise Rogstad; husband, Kermit; sisters, Marie and Violet.  She is survived by her children, Linda (Jim) Kelley of Chisago City, Nancy (Francis “Mac”) McDonough of Lakeville, Larry (Lisa) Pietenpol of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Paul Kelley, Matt (Libby) Kelley, Kristina (Cory) Kelley-Johnson, Patrick McDonough; great grandchildren, Anneka and Lane Johnson, Lucy Kelley.

Lila worked for many years in accounts payable for Barnes and Noble.  She was an active member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church for many years.  For the last three years, Lila lived close to her daughter, Linda and son-in-law, Jim at Vindauga View Assisted Living apartments in Chisago City, Minnesota.  Lila was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma and great grandma who will be deeply missed.  Memorials are preferred to Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Minnesota. Private interment will be held at Cherry Grove Cemetery, Cherry Grove, Minnesota.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
