Lloyd Francis Wendorf, passed away, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the age of 71.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Hartwell and Lillian (Wohlers) Wendorf.  He will be missed by his wife of 46 years, Jeannie; children, Katie (Ed) Karl, Brandon Wendorf, Sarah Rowe, Heidi Wendorf; grandchildren, Ruth and Caleb Karl, Ethan and Isaac (aka Lloyd) Rowe; siblings, Carol (Al) Roettger, Glenn Wendorf, Sheldon (Melody) Wendorf, Diana (Jon) Meyer, Ellen Gienau, Matthew Wendorf.

Lloyd was born in Stillwater, Minnesota.  He attended and graduated from Stillwater High School.  Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was on active duty during the VietNam War.  He was honorably discharged in 1969.  After 33 years of work at Anderson Windows, Lloyd retired and moved from Stillwater to “The Farm” in Scandia – “the only place in the world to be!”  Lloyd enjoyed camping, ice fishing, going to garage sales, auctions, threshing, car shows, building wood projects, camping, but most of all; spending time with family and friends.

An outdoor service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2020 at “The Farm”, 11715 Scandia Trail North, Scandia, Minnesota.  Visitation from 2:00 p.m., until the time of service.  Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.  PLEASE NOTE: The service and visitation will be held outdoors, please consider appropriate footwear for the terrain and the short walk through the field, bring a lawn chair, mask usage is recommended.  Handicap/assisted parking will be available.  Please ask your florist to deliver all floral arrangements to the funeral home.
