Wilkinson, Lloyd age 78of Wyoming Lloyd was called home by the Lord on March 21, 2004. Lloyd was a WWII Navy Veteran, served in the United States Navy, February 29, 1944-June 6, 1946. He was an Aviation Ordnance Man and a tail gunner on a torpedo bomber. He was assigned to Air Craft Carrier F.D.R. He received his secondary ratings in radar operations. He was a member of Torpedo Squadron 81, also known as the Flying Ghost Squadron. He was a member of the Floor Covering Union for 35 years, volunteered at Meals on Wheels for 10 years and a part of the Community Helping Hand in Forest Lake. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting all sorts of game. Survived by his loving wife, Dee, of 40 years; 5 children: Beth, Reed, Patricia, Karen, Terry; 11 Grandchildren: Justin, Mandy, John, Matthew, Luke, Joseph, Leland, Neil, Jeremy, Melissa, Jessica; 6 Sisters: Cheri, Peggy, Molly, Jeannie, Edith, Bonnie, Many Nieces, Nephews and cousins; 2 Godchildren, Kristin Doe and Daniel Sloper; 2 loving kitties, Jellybean and Rainbow. Lloyd was preceded in death by brother, George; 2 siters, Gloria and Donna; granddaughter Ruth. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 25, 2004 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming.
