Lon Jerome Sampson, age 62, of Wahpeton, North Dakota, passed away at his home on November 19, 2013. Lon was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 23, 1951. He is a graduate of Forest Lake High School. He spent the last decade in the trucking industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and wine making. He is preceded in death by his father, Ira Sampson in 2004. Lon will be greatly missed by his daughter, Leah; mother, Marie Sampson. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A luncheon will be served following Mass. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
