Louise Sentz

Louise M. Sentz age 83, formerly of Blaine, MN passed peacefully on October 5, 2015. Louise was born April 3, 1932 in New York City and moved to New Jersey at age 12. She is survived by her children, Chris Giancola, Sue Albrecht (Bill), Dave Zima and grandchildren Tony Giancola, Dan Giancola, Matt Albrecht and also by her beloved cats. Prior to her retirement in 1995, she worked in furniture sales. Louise enjoyed traveling throughout her lifetime. At home, she loved to garden growing beautiful flowers and always had a pet to warm her lap. She loved drama and was involved in Community Theater. Louise volunteered at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Hibbing and later at the Tarpon Springs Center for the Arts. She raised a family in Hibbing, MN, moved to the Twin Cities in 1979, and upon retirement in 1995 enjoyed life in sunny Florida with son Dave, until 2012 when health issues brought her back to MN needing the aid of her daughters. A celebration of Louise will be held at the Teppanyaki Buffet in Fridley on Thursday, October 15, from 1:30-3:30. Her cremains will be released into the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico on November 21, 2015. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to local pet rescue organizations, as Louise always helped her furry friends. She will be greatly missed.
