Margaret was born January 27, 1911, in Anoka County, MN to Emil and Edna (Anderson) Larson. Margaret received her education in District 43 Anoka County and continued in a secretarial course at Vocational High School in Mpls. She held employment in the office at Raleigh Company. In 1930 she married Lorenz "Bud" Ladd and they had a son, Lorenz Jr. Her life was devoted to being a homemaker and mother. She also held employment at a toy factory and at Northside Laundromat in Mpls. Margaret enjoyed the MN. Twins, reading inspirational material and visiting with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Maxine; brothers, Harry and Ralph; sister, Marion; parents-in-law, Jack and Frieda Smeby; and grand-niece, Lindsey Knutson. She is survived by: her son, Larry; sister, Irene Anderson; brothers, Edward, Willard (Carol), LeRoy, and Verlo (Kay); granddaughter, Karna Jereska; grandson, David Ladd; great-granddaughters, Rochelle, Kristin, and Kara and great-grand nephew Alexander, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Linwood Covenant Church, 6565 Viking Blvd., Linwood, MN. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25th from 4-7 PM at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and 1 hr prior to service at church on Wednesday. Burial at Victor Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Billy Graham Fund or the Donor?s Choice.
