Marjorie Grabau

April 4, 1924 — January 27, 2009

Grabau, Marjorie E., age 84, of Ham Lake, passed away peacefully January 27, 2009.



She had worked for Firestone Tire in Ohio, Hansen Drug Store in Circle Pines and as a voting judge for Anoka County.  Marjorie was also a homemaker and farmer who volunteered with Crossroads Evangelical Church Food Shelf and Meals on Wheels.  She loved to collect antiques and plates.  Marjorie enjoyed life and loved to travel.  The many friends she made in her 84 years were very important.  She will be dearly missed.



Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John; brother Robert Haws; sister-in-law, Norma Haws.  She is survived by her children, Brian (Diane), Mark, Carl (Sue), Jill, Penni Lange, John (Bonnie) and James; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother Don (Del) Haws; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral service 1 PM, Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Crossroads Covenant Church, 17445 Notre Dame St., Forest Lake.  Visitation 5-8 PM, Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to service Wed. at church.  Interment in Victor Hill Cemetery.
