Marvin Snitker

Snitker, Marvin Henry age 81, of Forest Lake, died on May 13, 2012. He was born April 25, 1931 to Arthur and Ada (Flagee) Snitker in Postville, IA. He is survived by his children, Dawn (John) Solheid, Stephen Snitker; siblings, Roger, Eugene, and Rita; as well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Marvin was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Early in his life he had worked for Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance. He later worked for and retired from Murphy Motor Freight Company.Funeral Service 12:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment with Military Honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
