Mary Aartun

Aarthun (Pesek), Mary Rose 75, of Forest Lake, on June 2, 2002, after a year's stuggle with cancer. Born and raised in St. Paul. A graduate of Monroe High School. Longtime active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, and numerous Forest Lake Seniors Groups. Preceded in death by husband, Robert; brother, Clar; Loving mother of Christine (Harold) Bowen of Clayton, WI, Katrina (Daniel) Stoltz of St. Paul, Robert, Jr. (Monica) Aarthun of Hudson, WI and Erick (Linda) Aarthun of Cottage Grove; grandmother of Jonathan, Ryan, and Heidi Bowen; Mary, Benjamin and Amanda Stoltz; Samantha and Sarah Aarthun; Ashley and Jorde Aarthun. Also survived by brother, William (Doris) Pesek of Lee's Summit, MO; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation 4-8 pm Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, and 1 hour prior to the service at church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Friday June 7th at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.Mattson Funeral Home651-464-3556
