Mary Erickson

Mary C. Erickson, age 84, of Marine on St. Croix, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Mary was born on August 22, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN to her parents, Ralph and Mildred Strom. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandma and great grandma. Among the love she shared for her family and spending time with them, Mary had other hobbies and interests that included baking, reading and crossword puzzles. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, John Strom and her sister, Kay Hill. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Earl; her children, Tom (Becky) Erickson, David (Dawn) Erickson, Karen (Carl) Morse, Christine (John Sr.) Norring and Jeanne (Greg) Schmitt; fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 14, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church, 150 5th Street, Marine on St. Croix, MN, with a visitation one hour prior to service at church. Private interment at Union Cemetery, Maplewood, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family.
