Melvin Hanson

Melvin L. Hanson, age 90, of Wyoming , died, Monday, June 30, 2010 at his home.


He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Getrude (Bergis) Hanson; wife of 70 years Dorothy; son Duane and eight siblings.



He is survived by his children, Walt (Peggy), Barrett, Sandra (Stan) Mitthun, Burt (Ellen), Danny, Marlean Eiffler, Terry (Jim) Heckel; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; sister, Edith (Edward) Keys; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.



A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive , Forest Lake . Memorials may be directed to the family.
