Melvin J. Pfaffendorf

Melvin J. Pfaffendorf, age 94, of Linwood Township, MN, passed away on May 17, 2023.

Melvin married Lucy on August 27, 1960, and they lived on his great grandparents’ farm.  Melvin was a fourth generation to live there.  Most of the farm now belongs to the Gordie Mikkelson Wild Life Area.  This is for everyone to enjoy while preserving the future.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest A. and Olga R. Pfaffendorf; brothers, Daniel (Evelyn) Pfaffendorf, Wilbur (Everal) Pfaffendorf; sisters, Marion (Oscar) Janka, and Eldorine (Edward) Koestler.

He is survived by wife, Lucille K. Pfaffendorf; many loving family members and dear friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Linwood Covenant Church, 6565 Viking Blvd NE, Wyoming, MN.  Visitation will be held 10-12 PM prior to the service at the church.  Burial at Linwood Township Cemetery.
