Michaela Horton

Michaela L. Horton, age 65 of Forest Lake, Minnesota; formerly of Mesa, Arizona, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Michaela is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elizabeth (Hecker) Sylvia. Michaela was a wonderful mother to her daughters, and she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her including her daughters, Gina (Joel) Peltier, Angie (Dan Shogren) Wolyniec; grandchildren, Christopher Kowarsch, Angel Kowarsch, Jay Wolyniec, Nathan Peltier, Lauren Peltier; great-grandchildren, Gavin White, Lucas White, Ariana Kowarsch, AveryellaWolyniec; siblings, Paulette (Sol) Christel, Benet (Les) Jordan, Robert (Sandy) Sylvia, Skip (Kris) Sylvia, Darrel (Linda) Sylvia; other family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until the time of service.
