Mildred Rioux

Mildred N. Rioux, age 94 , lifetime Forest Lake resident. Mildred was born and raised in Forest Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of Carl and Martha (Rumby) Engquist. She was a lifetime member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she participated in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Columbus Senior Center. Died peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; sister, Elvera Bakeberg. She will be dearly missed by her devoted children Bruce (Nancy) Rioux, Gerri (Tom) DuFresne, Sandra (Jim) Coughlin; grandchildren, Deborah Rioux-Dwyer, Michelle (Carl) Gillen, LaRae (Gary) Mikkelson, Mike (Tracy) DuFresne, Joe (Natasha) DuFresne, Leanne Abbas, Cory (Jennifer) Coughlin; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Carole DuFresne; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church or charity of choice.
