Mildred A. Sobolik, 82, died February 4, 2011 at her home at The Villages of North Branch, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 11 at the Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN at 10:30 AM. She will eventually be laid to rest in St. JohnA�A�A½s Cemetery in Grafton, ND later this spring. Mildred Sobolik was born in Middle River, MN on February 13, 1928, the daughter of John and Helen Pribula. She was a graduate of Grafton (ND) High School and married Terry Sobolik of Voss, ND in 1948. Terry and Millie moved to Grand Forks (ND) in 1953 with their two children, where she worked for the Grand Forks Credit Bureau for many years. In 1974 Terry and Millie moved to Idaho Falls, ID to start a new business. Their business, a cheese house and delicatessen, prospered and within two years, they opened additional stores in Pocatello and Nampa, Idaho. They eventually moved from Boise, ID in 1993 to Mesa, AZ where they retired. In 2003, due to failing health, she moved to Forest Lake, MN to live with her son, Craig Sobolik, where she resided until she moved into an assisted living apartment at The Villages of North Branch in 2009. She is survived by her son, Craig of Forest Lake, MN, her sister Loretta Mattson of Mesa, AZ, six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Flowers or contributions can be made to the Church of St. Peter at 1250 South Shore Drive in Forest Lake, MN 55025.
