Norman Dahl

Norman "Norm" W. Dahl, age 94, of Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota died and went to meet his Lord and Savior on July 30, 2012. Norm was born April 26, 1918 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Wallace and Astrid (Haar) Dahl. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. Norm was an accountant throughout his working years and enjoyed the lake life on Big Marine. He was a member of Scandia-Marine Lions Club and Elim Lutheran Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey; parents; son, Daniel Norman; grand-daughter, Krista Lorraine; sister, Margaret Williams; brother, Robert. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including children, Mary Alice (Michael) Malpass, Marshall Dahl, Lorraine Campbell, David (Julie) Dahl; fourteen grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 3, at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail N. Scandia. Visitation 4:00-7:00 PM, Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake continuing one hour prior at church. Interment at Elim Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Elim Lutheran Church.
