Orris Morkert

Orris "Porky" L. Morket, age 88 of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 23, 2011. Some of Porky"s fondest memories were farming with Uncle Levi in Leeds, North Dakota. He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; grandson, Joseph; four siblings. He is survived by his children, Rodney (Susan), Paulette (Will) Paumen, Katherine (Barry) Swingle, Richard (Judy); eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Jean (Virgil) Larson; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2011 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home; continuing one hour prior to the service. Private interment at Scandinavian Cemetery.
