Patricia R. Funni

Patricia Rose Funni, age 82 of Scandia, Minnesota was born May 7, 1942 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Patti died peacefully on August 23, 2024, surrounded by her family at home. Her family and Faith were the center of her life. She always had time and a joyful smile for each and every one of her numerous friends and large family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Frank Funni, father, C.J. Miley; mother Marion Miley and one baby. She is survived by four devoted children, Christine (Jon) Springer, Michelle (Doug) Mahnke, Mark (Trisha) Funni, David (Kristi) Funni; beloved and adored Humma to twenty grandchildren; Maria, Shealeigh (Jon), Lydia (Michael), Teresa (Graham), Maggie, Dan, Isaac, Breanna (Russ), Veronica, Isabelle, Julia, Michael, Max, Kiera, Frank, Stella, Nick, Angela, Stephen, Joanna, and one great grandchild; Keldon, two sisters, Sr. Sonia Miley, Mary (Tom) Weinhold, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Patti was a treasured and beloved wife, mother and grandmother. In 1984, she received a liver transplant at the University of Minnesota, which gave her nearly 40 bonus years of life. Patti greeted each day as a gift to celebrate. She chose to live with joy and gratitude, sharing that joy and a smile with others. Her faith in her friend Jesus was the most important part of her life. She was dearly beloved by all who knew her. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing one hour prior to mass at the church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
