Patricia "Pat" Spanovich

Spanovich, Patricia A. “Pat”, age 80, of East Bethel, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 2, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Ingwold and Katherine Gunderson. Survived by husband of 58 years, Ed; sons, George (Brenda) of Wyoming, MN, Tom (Dorothy) of Ham Lake, MN; granddaughter, Ashley (Josh) of Coon Rapids, MN; sisters, Barbara Ellinger of Roseville, MN, MaryLou Kohler of St. Petersburg, FL; nephew, James Kohler in Atlanta, GA; and niece, Susan Kohler of St. Petersburg, FL.

Pat was born on May 16, 1938 in St. Paul where she was also raised. She lived in Roseville 40 years and lived on Coon Lake in East Bethel for 18 years.  Pat was a devoted wife, mother, and grandma. She loved to garden, feed and watch the birds, her family dogs, living on the lake, family gatherings, and spending time with her beloved husband.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025.  The family will be greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
