Philip Ridge

Philip C. Ridge, age 83 f Wyoming, Minnesota died, Saturday, October 4, 2008 following injuries from a car accident.

Philip worked for several years as a skid foreman at MaGillis & Gibbs Pole Co. Following his retirement he began working for the Forest Lake School District as a custodian. In addition to this, he was a lifelong farmer, who was always proud of his crops. Philip proudly served his community as a firefighter with Linwood Township for 22 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Inez Ridge; grandson Corey Ridge. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 61 years Lil; sons, Ronald, Robert (Barb); granddaughter Jennifer (Jim) Janssen; great grandchildren, Tony and Abby Janssen.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Linwood Cemetery.
