Ray Emerson Jr

Ray Emerson Jr., age 80 of East Bethel, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on May 20, 2015 surrounded by family. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army and Navy. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine and daughter, Vickie. He is survived by three sons, Dean (DeeDee) Dowdy, John (Blaine) Vey, Todd (Aimee) Vey; six grandchildren, Jeremy Dowdy, Kelly Dowdy, Madeline Vey, Randi Vey, Bailey Vey, Braydyn Vey, and 1 great grandson, Michael Dowdy. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 26 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service.
