Raymond C. Allison
age 65 of Forest Lake
died, Sunday, November 25, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ray began his career in 1967 as a pipe fitter; which continued with Local #455 for over 30 years. He enjoyed all aspects of bicycling, especially making and riding recumbent bikes. He was a member of the Minnesota Human Powered Vehicle Association. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alverna (Johnson) Allison; nephew Brent. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years Mary Lou; daughter Michelle (Terry) Allison Peterson; sister Verna Mae (Marvin) Jackson; brother-in-law Gary (Susan) Dupre; mother-in-law Lucille Dupre; nieces and nephews, Gail, Mark, Mike, Greg, Brian, Grace, Anna.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2007 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday and 9:00-10:00 a.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
