He was preceded in death by his grandson Johnny.
He is survived by his children; Geraldine Skottegaard, David (Denise), Donald (Vicki), Gary (Judy), Debbie (John) Steele, Robert; twelve grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister Clara. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, October 14, 2005 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Dr., Forest Lake. Visitation 5-7 PM Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing from 9:00-10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
