Raymond Landeen

Ray C. Landeen, age 91 of Forest Lake, died Thursday, September 4, 2008.  Ray was a proud WWII veteran who served his country in the United States Army.  He was an active member of the VFW Post 4210 until two years ago.  He enjoyed fishing for all species of fish, camping and watching the Minnnesota Twins.

He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including his beloved wife Betty; children, Diane Vogel, Beverly (Larry) Nelson, Dennis (Jenny) Landeen, Barb (Robert) Hale, Kevin (Joan) Landeen, Randy (Cheryl) Landeen, Ashley Kennedy; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at  1:00 PM, Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service at the church. Interment 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2008 at Kahbakong Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
