Renee Olson

Renee Pauline Mark Olson, Age 82, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2011 while surrounded by her family. She was born March 2, 1929 to Duane Frances and Florence (Schultz) Mark in Bismarck, North Dakota. Renee married Lawrence Olaf Olson November 22, 1947 in St. Paul. She had waited tables for 19 years at the Rustic Inn is Stacy. Renee loved to sew, often making really nice outfits for her, her daughter, and grandchildren. She also loved to cook, making many delicious made from scratch recipes. Her family was the most important part of her life. Renee would give everything she had to help her family. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence; parents; and the maternal grandparents who raised her, Herman & Gina Schultz. Renee is survived by her children, Ginger Olson and Steve Olson; granddaughters, Kelly (Keith) McKinney, Larissa (Rob) Scharbach; great grandchildren, Samantha, Chloe, Mariah, Emma, Natalie, Kelsey; and sister, Gloria (Ed) Gangl. A celebration of her life will be 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Family will greet guests one hour prior to service.
