Rev. Donald Waddle

Rev. Donald K. Waddle age 76, of Stacy, Minnesota, died peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 05, 2015. Don was born April 17, 1938 in Central City, Kentucky, the son of William and Juanita Grace (Tatum) Waddle. He attended school in Kentucky before moving to Chicago. While living in Chicago he worked at a theater and later for Ceco Steel. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Glennetta Mounts, on May 18, 1955 in Vulcan, West Virginia. Donald and Glennetta made their home in Chicago for over eighteen years before he was called to be a pastor in Minnesota. Don and Glennetta began the Faith Apostolic Church (Spirit and Praise Pentecostal Church) in the basement of the Masonic Lodge in Lindstrom, Minnesota before purchasing and moving the church to Wyoming, Minnesota. Donald brought his gifts of ministry to the people of the community for 39 years. With his wife, Glennetta by his side they walked with the Lord together for almost 60 years, after receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and being baptized together in Jesus' name. In additional to his spiritual ministry, Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Isabella Waddle; siblings, Billy Waddle, Glenda Smith. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including his beloved wife, Glennetta; sons, Donnie (Debra), Lonnie (Theresa), Michael (Augusta); grandchildren, Paul (Nicole), Mark (Ashley), Samuel (Sara), Jonathan (Dani), Sarah (Brandon) Million, Joshua (Diana) Peterson, Stephen Peterson, Calvin, Colin, Chloe; great-grandchildren, Jake, Jordan, Mariah, Zadie, Badgley, Suri, Foster Million, Elliana Peterson, Bauer Peterson, baby girl Fallon Don (on the way); brothers, Jerry (Liz), Roy (Janice); brother-in-law, Al Smith Sr.; many other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2015 at Spirit and Praise Pentecostal Church, 5521 Viking Blvd., Wyoming. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday and 11:00-12:00 p.m., Monday at the church. Interment at Wyoming United Methodist Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Spirit and Praise Pentecostal Church.
