Richard "Rick" Bochenski, age 67 of Anoka County, Minnesota, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2016 from heart disease complications. We are so grateful that we were able to spend an additional twenty-two years with Rick after his quadruple bypass in 1994. He was born and raised in New Brighton and graduated from Mounds View High School in 1966. He married his soul mate on July 25, 1970 and was happily married for 45 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and was awarded a Purple Heart. He worked many years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was an avid Entrepreneur with many businesses that he started from home, including Mail Order businesses, a printing company, and he was most proud of owning Zebra Pizza & Tacos in Ramsey, MN alongside his Son-in-Law Jim. He retired in 2010 and moved to Forest Lake. He also loved working around the house and doing projects, always thinking of something new to install or fix. He loved to garden and mow the lawn in the summer months. He and his Wife Lori traveled during his retirement to visit family and go to places they both wanted to visit. He really enjoyed being with family and watching his grandkids grow up. He was a fun loving and selfless man. He loved his family very much and was very proud of them.
