Richard G. Hubers, age 65 of Ham Lake went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 21, 2010. Dick was born June 22, 1944 in Faribault, Minnesota. He grew up on a farm near Northfield, Minnesota. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1965-1967 and served in Vietnam. It was his honor to serve the United States; the country he loved. Dick loved his work: construction, trucking and anything with wheels and moving parts. He founded Eagle Trucking Inc. in 1975. He loved and was loved by his family and many friends. He will be remembered for his generous spirit. Though he struggled the past seven years with cancer and various medical issues, he maintained his dedication to his work, and an optimistic and persevering spirit. May he rest in peace. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; Anthony and Ruth (Reichert) Hubers; brothers, Leonard, Anthony; sisters-in law, Cathy, Karen, Judy Hubers; brother-in-law Ray Kasparek. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including his devoted and loving wife of 31 years Diane; children, Michael Fiedler, Vicki and Stacey Hubers; siblings, Gerald Hubers, Ruth Ann (William) Walsh, Earl (Charleen) Hubers, Linda Kasparek, John Hubers, Donna (Rex) Kletschka; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Avenue NE, Blaine. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
