Richard grew up in St. Paul, MN and was a graduate of Central High School and 916 Vo-Tech College.
Richard was known affectionately as "Woods" or “Rick”. He was a man of many talents, incredible work ethic, and possessed a generous heart. He had a great appreciation for craftsmanship in furniture, antiques, and design and pursued a profession that matched that passion, upholstery. Rick, self-employed, for many years, enjoyed small business ownership.
Rick had a deep love for the outdoors. An avid fisherman, he found joy in spending time on Forest Lake. He also enjoyed bowling and playing Scrabble, pastimes that brought him both challenge and camaraderie. In his retirement, Rick was fond of watching golf, professional sports, and going to the movies. A man of faith in his later years, Rick found peace in his relationship with Jesus Christ.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
