Richard H. Struecker, age 74 of Wyoming, died peacefully at Birchwood Health Care Center following a short journey with cancer. Richard was born April 28, 1933 in Palo Alto County, Iowa the son of Ervin and Frieda (Lauck) Struecker. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, Richard returned to Iowa where he worked at the elevator in Garner. He later moved to Minnesota where he worked as a truck driver for many years. Richard will be remembered as a loving and kind man who was always there for those who needed a friend. Richard is preceded in death by his parents. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved his including his sister Gladys Suerstenau; niece Linda; nephews, Wayne, Rick and Gerald; and devoted friend Gabrielle Lacasse and her family. A private graveside service will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
