Richard E. Teigland, age 81, of Wyoming, died Wednesday, August 19, 2020.  Richard was born July 5, 1939 in Bagley, Minnesota, the son of Elmer and Alvina (Hanson) Teigland.  He attended Bagley High School.  Following high school, Richard worked on local potato fields before beginning his life-long career as an Over the Road Truck Driver.  He drove truck across the United States for 30 years before purchasing his own truck in the late 1980’s and established his own locally based trucking company, Teigland Trucking.  Richard drove truck until 2006 when health issues forced him to retire.  In the early 1960’s, while still living in Northern Minnesota, Richard met the love of his life, Sandra Horner.  They were united in marriage and were blessed with 58 years of marriage.  He and Sandee made their home in Wyoming, Minnesota where he enjoyed working and refurbishing farm and lawn tractors.  He completed many different styles and enjoyed taking them to the local shows.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and in his earlier years, racing stock cars.  Richard is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carla Teigland; brothers, Mardell and Gale.  He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Sandee; children, Randy (Faye) Teigland, Teri Jo (Tim Gruett) Teigland; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Karen (Bert) Lundberg, Nettie Swanum, Christie (Lowell) Tangjerd.

Private family interment will be held at Linwood Township Cemetery.  An event to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.  Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society in honor of Richard.
