passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on November. 19, 2007
Preceded in death by her son, Wayne; and her parents.
Rita is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gordon; children, Karl (Katy), Traci (Rodney) Besch, Joleen (Tom) Thordson.
Grandchildren, Kasey and Nicholas Maier; Josh and Garrett Besch; Erin and Ali Mae Thordson; brothers, Keithe (Suzie), Kerry (Cindy), and Kevin Hofeld; many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming. Visitation 4-8 PM, Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to service at church on Tuesday. Interment in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wayne Maier Memorial Fund at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
