Robert Holden, Sr

Robert L. Holden, Sr., age 83, of Forest Lake. Retired Forest Lake Police Officer Passed away peacefully on February 6, 2015. Bob was a US Air Force Sergeant during the Korean Conflict and had been a Law Enforcement Instructor at Dakota County Technical Institute. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, 32° Scottish Rite, and American Legion. Preceded in death by wife, Frances "Bunny"; parents, Archie and Mabel. Bob is survived by son, Robert (Pam) Jr.; grandchildren, Robert III, Jeremy, Amanda; sister, Mary Ellen Olson; niece, Carolyn (Bill) McCarthy; nephew, Jeff (Magda) Olson; and extended family. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Linwood Covenant Church, 6565 Viking Blvd. NE, Wyoming. Visitation 4-7 p.m., with 6 p.m. American Legion Ritual and 7 p.m. Masonic Service on Wednesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service Thursday at church. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake. Military Honors accorded by American Legion Post 225.
