Robert William Lang “Bob” “Joe Buck” , age 72, of Forest Lake, MN, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on March 8, 2022.

Bob proudly served his country while in the United States Air Force.  He was a long time Deputy Sheriff in Duluth and in Hennepin County. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family whether it was at the cabin, camping, or while hunting or fishing.  He loved life with a sense of adventure and the story teller around the fire.

He is preceded in death by parents, Robeert and Patricia, and nephew, Ryan.  He is survived by children, Jon (Michelle), Jeffery, David (Salina), Camille (Jacob) Bevens; grandchildren, Jennilee, Madelyn, Anna, Elijah, Landon, Lincoln, Crosby; siblings, Kathleen Frischmon; Richard (Sheila), Deborah (Peter) Schiessl; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  For those unable to attend the service in person you can follow this link to watch the live stream, https://youtu.be/blPuJIHrVME .  Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to mass at the church.  Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lino Lakes.
