Robert A. Molinaro, age 89 of Wyoming, Minnesota, formerly of Fridley, died peacefully while surrounded by his family on Friday, August 2, 2013. Bob was a WWII Army Veteran, Charter Member of the Fridley K of C, and VFW Post 4210. He worked as a broadcast engineer for KARE 11 for 40 years. Bob was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend; he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need-his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe and Constance; brothers, Victor and Emil Molinaro; sister, Clara Bickel. He is survived by his wife, Ruth of 60 years; children, Mary (Bret) Mady, Bob (Megan) Molinaro, Nancy Nelson, Sue (Roger) Hogrefe, Joe (Ronni) Molinaro; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Terry Williams, Elena (Gene) Galvin, Ann (Peter) Boosalis, Jeanette (Norman) Bowen; other family and friends. The family would like to thank the wonderful and loving staff and volunteers at the Homestead of Anoka for their time and care given to Bob over the past year and a half. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N, Brooklyn Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
