Passed away peacefully October 21, 2008 in his home, 10 days after his 93rd birthday. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, LaVonne Dix; son, LeRoy; brothers, Arthur and Melvin. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 72 years; son, Larry (Dolly); daughters, Linda (Greg) Wood, Lila (Mark) O’Brien; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; many other relatives and dear friends.
Robert was a longtime truck driver of Our Own Hardware Company.
Funeral service 12:00 P.M., Friday, October 24, 2008 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment in Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Crystal. Memorials may be made to Fairview Lakes Homecaring & Hospice.
