Robert Rainer

Robert "Bud" Rainer, age 79 of Forest Lake, Minnesota passed away peacefully August 21, 2014. Bud was born July 20, 1935 in Forest Lake to Lawrence and Marguerite (Parenteau) Rainer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Paul, daughter-in-law, Laynie; 7 siblings. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Janet (nee Kannisto) and family of 6 sons: Terry (Lisa), Steven (Vicky), Vincent (Kim), Peter (Brenda), Roland (Patty) and Robert; 11 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; 3 siblings; many nieces, nephews and other extended family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30a.m., Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Sunday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
