Roberta Slawick

Roberta M. Slawick, age 69 of Columbus, Minnesota, died peacefully, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family when she was received into heaven. Roberta was born January 5, 1939 in L’Anse, Michigan, the daughter of Royden and Isabell (O’Toole) Ellico. Roberta worked for several years as a X-Ray technician before she was united in marriage to James Slawick. She enjoyed spending time gardening and most importantly being with her beloved family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and their son James Jr. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her including her devoted husband James; daughters, Shannon Gravening and Elizabeth (Gary) Feblowitz; granddaughters Stephanie and Tiffany, great grandson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 24, 2008 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
