Roger Fremo

Roger Allan Fremo, age 87, of Blaine, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2013, while surrounded by his family. Roger was a fisherman at heart. He enjoyed fishing for pan fish and walleye. Aside from his love for fishing, Roger enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family, as well as small home-improvement projects that kept him busy. Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley of 59 years; parents, Oscar and Carrie Fremo and Brother David Fremo. He is survived by children, Sally, Steven (Debbie) and Brian (Lucy); grandchildren, Steven Fremo Jr., Steven Kubiszewski and Jennifer (Gregory) Rouse and great grandchildren, Deandra, Sanita and Ali. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
