passed away peacefully from cancer, while surrounded by family on November 6, 2009.
Preceded in death by his parents Lois & George Gustafson; brother, Glenn. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Denise; stepdaughters, Stacy (Joe) Picha, Angela (Pat) Ohmann; siblings, Gary (Doreen), Dennis (Cindy), Phyllis Gentz, Wayne (DeAnn), Richard; Godson Jesse Gustafson; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
Roger retired in 1994 from the U.S. Army and was currently working for Cummins Power. He loved camping, his horses, and his beloved dog Cinder.
Funeral Service 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 5-8 PM, Wednesday and one hour prior to service Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home. Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
