Rollin Guertin

Guertin, Rollin "Rollie", age 80, formerly of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully after a short illness on May 27, 2013 with his loving wife by his side. Rollie was born on February 9, 1933 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to parents George and Leah Guertin. He was a proud carpenter, working many years as a cabinet maker. Among carpentry, Rollie had many other hobbies including traveling, Nascar races, playing pool, being outdoors and spending time with his beloved family. Rollie is survived by his wife, Darlene of 57 years; daughter, Joy (Brian) Behnke and two grandchildren, Mike and Jennifer LaValla. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Private family interment at Rice Lake Cemetery, Lino Lakes.
