Ronald Gmyrek

Ronald “Ron” Gmyrek, age 81 of Chisago City, died peacefully, Saturday, June 2, 2018.  In Ron’s words “I am the first born son of Joseph and Mary Gmyrek”.   It was Ron’s witty way of saying I am a child of God.  Ron began his career in medical engineering with Medtronic and advanced with his career at Cardio Pace Medical and later retired with St. Jude’s Medical.  In his retirement he founded PriMed International.  In his free time, Ron enjoyed being at the lake, his cabin, boat and searching for agates.  Above all the most important thing to him was his family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Connie; children, Rob (Ria), Craig (Annette), Penny, Cory (Angel); grandchildren, Naomy, Joshua, Sarah, Tyler, Alissa, Bryce, Andrew, Victoria (Alex) Mather, Jeremiah (Katelyn) Jones, Cole; great-grandchildren, Althea, Oakley, Eliaza, Taya; siblings, Carol (Ron) Hildebrandt, Bobby (Bill) Vesper, Andy (Mary) Lucas, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Maranatha Assembly of God, 24799 Forest Blvd North, Forest Lake.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Family interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Browerville, Minnesota.
